Note that we are not able to help with fungus identification in the BMS Office.

The BMS Office

Executive Officer

Emma is responsible for day-to-day running of the Society. She oversees the implementation of the Society's governance and operational requirements and activities, to meet objectives and ensure delivery of the strategy. Emma also supports projects and services developed by the Committees, and manages Society communications.

Sally Hawkes

Events & Member Services Officer

Sally is responsible for event co-ordination and administration, working closely with other staff, committees and volunteers to deliver the Society's full range of events. She is the main contact for event enquiries. Sally also oversees membership admnistration and contributes to the development and delivery of services, resources and benefits for members and the wider mycological community.

Laura Woodland

BMS Administrator

Laura provides administrative support across the breadth of the Society's activities and services. She is responsible for day-to-day financial administration, overseeing BMS awards and grants and processing journal subscriptions. Laura also acts as meetings secretary to ensure the smooth running and recording of Council and Committee meetings and is the contact point for general enquiries.
