Details	The group was re-formed in 2015 to promote fungus recording, conservation and the appreciation of fungi by the wider public. We do not encourage foraging. Our public liability insurance is covered through affiliation to the BMS and we never visit a site as a group without prior permission having been granted. Forays are very informal and friendly; numbers are usually small allowing plenty of time for individual help from the experienced leaders where needed. Members are welcome to bring specimens with them for identification and discussion before we set out. Group Forays are held usually from April to November but ad hoc events may also be run. New members are always most welcome; no prior knowledge or experience is needed; families are particularly encouraged and we are very keen to include youngsters.
