The British Mycological Society aims to provide resources and materials to aid in the teaching of fungal science across the whole learning arena. Resources are available to:
Members of the Society and/or regional fungus groups who require resource materials and advice in order to carry out outreach activities and public forays in their local area.
Teachers in primary school education and / or parents who wish to encourage children to engage with the fascinating fungal kingdom.
Teachers and students at secondary school level (Ages 12 to post-16) who wish to explore how the ‘Fungal Kingdom’ impacts on topics covered by the National Curriculum for Science.
University lecturers and students where access to teaching materials such as slides, practical investigations and lecture notes on mycological topics will be available as well as information and contacts for those wishing to pursue a career in fungal science.
