The Pembrokeshire Fungus Recording Network was established in 2005. The Network's activities are largely focussed on fungus recording on grassland sites - especially where this supports the local Biodiversity Action Plan.

The Network's aims are to:

  • Record and document the distribution of fungi in Pembrokeshire.
  • Promote the conservation of fungi and associated habitats.
  • Encourage a greater awareness and understanding of fungal conservation issues in the wider community.

Field recording and training events held in the autumn, and illustrated talks provided for local organisations throughout the year. A quarterly bulletin is circulated to members and posted on the Network's website.
