The British Mycological Society is open to all who are interested in supporting, promoting and learning about the exciting world of fungi.
Membership of the BMS is open to anyone with a personal and / or professional interest in fungi. Members are part of a broad and connected community with wide-ranging interests including biochemistry, biodiversity, biotechnology, conservation, ecology, evolution, fungal interactions with animals and plants, genetics, molecular biology, physiology, recording, systematics and taxonomy.
Together, we aim to raise the profile of mycology and increase understanding of the fascinating world of fungi.
