11:00-11:20: Dr. Claus Bässler, Bavarian Forest National Park Forest ecologist investigating diversity and functions of fungi, lichens and bryophytes.

11:20-11:40: Dr. Raquel Pino-Bodas, Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew Specialist on taxonomy and evolution of Cladonia lichens.

11:40-12:00: Dr. Matthew Ryan, CABI Microbiologist specialized on plant health and genetic resources.

12:00-14:00: Lunch break.

14:00-14:20: Dr. Gareth Griffith, Aberystwyth University Ecology and taxonomy of British grassland fungi.

14:20-14:40: Ricardo Castilho, Imperial College London & RBG Kew PhD Student working on the ecology of mycorrhizal fungi in dwarf shrubs of the Alps.

14:40-15:00: Geoffrey Kibby, Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew A top expert on British mushrooms including Boletus, Russula, Amanita, Tricholoma, Agaricus and Lactarius

15:00-15:30: Prof. Joey Spatafora, Oregon State University, Corvallis Evolutionary biology of asco-, basidio- and zygomycetes.
